INFORMATION THAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT PARTIES BEFORE BOOKING THE PARTY

THERE IS TO BE NO FOOD AND DRINK BROUGHT INTO FAMILY FUNLAND APART FROM A CAKE. WE PROVIDE A RANGE OF FOOD AND DRINK OPTIONS AND IF YOU WOULD LIKE FOOD AND DRINK IT WILL NEED TO BE PREPARED BY OUR KITCHEN STAFF.


INVITES: Please put 10 minutes early on the invites, there will be no refunds or discounts for the party/person if guests miss out on a particular attraction. We have strict party times and have multiple parties each day and need to run by schedule. The package is a heavily discounted option as it is. Late Guests will miss out on part of the package unfortunately.


SCHEDULE: Please be aware all confirmed details will be exact on the day and unfortunately, we cannot change things on the day such as food service time and the series of events i.e. Attractions then Arcade.

 

SOCKS: Socks are a definite for many of the activities, please make sure all participants have socks. Parents will need socks for any kiddie play parties as well as Bouldering.

CLOSED IN SHOES:  Laser Tag requires closed in shoes, Bouldering requires closed in shoes.

ATTRACTIONS INCLUDED IN YOUR PACKAGE: Please be aware not all attractions (soft play, laser tag, bouldering and dark ride) are included in your package, all packages specify the things included in them, so please familiarise yourself with the package to avoid disappointment. There are extras that allow you to add onto packages at $5pp per attraction not included in the package

ARCADE GAMES: All arcade games included in the party packages are the green swiper machines. 80% of our machines have green Intercard swipers, the Family Funland cards will not work on the blue machines and display no funds available if they are used on these games. Using the arcade games in a party package will not allow you to continually add up the tickets however will put a certain amount of tickets on each card to be redeemed for prizes by the end of the party depending on the package chosen, for example each child receiving 100 tickets onto the card and 200 for the birthday child.  The reason we have done this is to ensure that all children receive something at the end of the party. All Intercards will need to be handed back as well at the end, the cards will expire once the party is completed. Please be aware you cannot combine party tickets to general play Family Funland card tickets.

EXTRAS CAN BE PURCHASED ON THE DAY IF THEY ARE ATTRACTIONS: IF THE CHILDREN INVOLVED WITH A PARTY WOULD LIKE TO GO ON THE ATTRACTIONS AGAIN THEN A DISCOUNTED PRICE WILL APLLY FOR THEM DURING THE PARTY, THIS WILL ALSO APPLY FOR PARENTS INVOLVED. CHECK THE EXTRA SECTION ON THE PARTY FLYER. HOWEVER, IF THESE ATTRACTIONS EXCEED THE PARTY PACKAGE LIMIT AND THERE IS A PARTY BOOKED AFTER YOURS WE WILL NEED TO MOVE YOUR PARTY TO THE CAFÉ SEATING AREA AND YOU ARE MORE THAN WELCOME TO STAY. IF THESE EXTRAS ARE PURCHASED UPON BOOKING THE DURATION OF THE PARTY WILL BE LONGER.

THE PARTY ROOM:
Please be aware each package has time limit in the room. If your party would like to stay longer or add attractions we will need to move your party to the café area if something is booked after you and requires the room. If you add extras on upon booking then you will be entitled to a longer time in the rooms.


SIGNAGE:
All signage has been attached for each attraction. Please make sure you have read all of the rules and restrictions.

LASER TAG: parent or guardian for anyone under the age of 12, for Birthday Parties 1 parent is complementary, other parents wanting to participate will need to pay $5pp. Please ensure all parents entering the arena have waivers signed and orange wristbands to show this. No medical conditions permitted. We have a 1 arm gun setting for participants with a broken arm. Maximum of 28 people at once.

DARK RIDE: no medical conditions. Minimum age of 4 but also taller than 101cm. different themes available, maximum of 8 at one time.

BOULDERING:
 Maximum of 30 people. Closed in shoes. No Black Sole shoes. Not permitted to climb in socks.

SOFT PLAY: it is not beneficial to book a soft play party for anyone over the age of 6. Usually there will be kids to tall and he partu will need to be split. 121cm is the maximum height for children. Any child watching another child will need to remain on the bottom story. You will be asked to leave the area if you are a child too tall playing. The area is for small children who are easily intimidated by older taller children. Bouldering can be utilised for the older/taller kids.

 

THE PROCESS ON THE DAY


Come to the Front Counter 15 minutes early to be told which room is yours
The Party Coordinator is the one you need to speak to about party requirements on the day. This person is the first one that comes into your room to greet you.

The Party Coordinator will go through your schedule, make sure waivers are signed, put orange wristbands on all party kids and the parents participating.

The Party Coordinator will tell the party to get started 10 minutes into the party and take you to the first attraction, there is to be no delays. The Marshals will send you where you need to be next, or you can take the schedule and head to the right areas.

We do attractions before Arcade and eat in between.
We leave the party cards in the room while attractions are being used to avoid the cards being swiped to early on the arcade games.

At food service time the food will be brought out and 20 minutes into that you will need to cut your cake. If you have a cake in the cool room please let us know when the food is delivered to the room so the party can run on time and smoothly. 

After food service and the cake you will either go to arcade or an attraction depending on the schedule. For Arcade the green swipers are the only ones able to be used. Please ensure you are swiping the cards the correct way or them to work. The Party Coordinator will be

When arcade runs out  there is a photobooth credit that can be used on cinema side. You will need to go swipe the cards over there to issue the token.

Bring all cards back to Family Funland and hand back at the ticket counter to redeem prizes.

Complete Payment of party at the front counter. If you have an coffee tabs or unpaid café amounts you will need to pay for those at the café counter.

BREAKDOWN OF EACH PARTY AND THE WAY IT RUNS ON THE DAY


KIDDIE PLAY PARTY: Please be aware everyone must be under the height limit of 121cm.
For Kiddie Play parties the host will greet you and put wristbands on all the children with signed waivers. All children without signed waivers will need to have these done by the parent of the party on the day. The host will take them into the area upon arrival and let them out of the area 30 mins into the party to eat. The host will assist with serving your food and topping up drinks and cake service after thee food has been consumed in the 30-minute time limit. The host will then take the children back into the area for another 30 mins after food and drink and then come to the middle counter for ticket prizes at the end. The host will keep the lanyards until the ticket redemption time where she will hand them out for the kids to get ticket prizes and then hand all cards back. There is also a photobooth credit on your FFL cards as an extra, this can be used before ticket prizes. Please be aware you will have a set time in the party room from the package chosen and after the time limit on the room has finished your party will be moved to the café area. Please be aware that socks are required for this party and anyone over the height limit will need to utilise bouldering on the day.




BOULDERING PARTY PACK
Your Host will greet you and explain the process of the day, if you would like to add anything on to the package please speak to this same person to avoid confusion.
Please be aware this area needs closed in shoes and for the shoes not appropriate for climbing will need to be changed to our climbing shoes for the session. This party will start off with 30 mins play then 30 minutes of food and drink and cake service followed by another 30 mins of climbing. There is a photobooth credit on the cards which can be utilised on cinema side, it is an extra to the package if you would like to utilise this. At the end of the climbing the children will need to get ticket prizes and hand back their FFL cards. The cake is done during food and drink time. Waivers need to be signed



GAMER PARTY PACK
Someone will greet you and explain the process of the day, if you would like to add anything on to the package please speak to this same person to avoid confusion.
This party package will always start with laser tag either followed by food and drink then arcades or Laser, arcades then food and drink. We have a lift in laser tag that allows wheelchair access to both stories of our arena, closed in shoes are required and a parent or guardian over the age of 18 for participants under the age of 12. We also have a 1 handed gun option for participants with a broken arm. The cake is done during food and drink time. Waivers that need to be signed



SUPER GAMER PARTY PACK
Someone will greet you and explain the process of the day, if you would like to add anything on to the package please speak to this same person to avoid confusion
– Dark ride then arcade then eat or dark ride then eat then arcade. The green swipers are the pnes included in the arcade part of the package. No medical condition permitted on dark ride. If you have a host they will do dark ride with the children and serve food however for arcade the host will not play arcades with the children. Waivers that need to be signed


FUNLAND ALL IN ONE –
Someone will greet you and explain the process of the day, if you would like to add anything on to the package please speak to this same person to avoid confusion.

HALF A DAY OUT PACK –
Someone will greet you and explain the process of the day, if you would like to add anything on to the package please speak to this same person to avoid confusion.
this package usually starts off in funland with the attractions and then eat in between bowl straight after and end the party on arcade games. The cards will all be swiped before arrival on the attractions and left in the room until arcade time. If there is a host the host will do the attraction side of things with the children and when it comes to arcade the children will only be able to use the green swiper arcade games. A photo booth credit is an extra in the package if you would like to use it, this is located on cinema side and will need to be used before handing the cards back at ticket prizes. The cake is done during food and drink time. Waivers will need to be signed.Bouldering is an all day pass therefore if you keep the blue wristband on then you will be able to use the attraction all day.




BIG DAY OUT PACK –
this package will vary depending on the day chosen and the movie sessions available.  Minimum of 5 people for this package and all items need to be used by the end of the day. Bouldering is an all day pass therefore if you keep the blue wristband on then you will be able to use the attraction all day.
